Stay at Gran Melia Arusha, an oasis of calm and aesthetic pleasure.

In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch and more game drive until Africa sunset, then drive back for dinner and overnight stay at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

The park is mainly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the giant trees on the continent), which fill the landscape. The park’s river includes wildlife ranging from birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and elephants. The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast, then depart to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. Afternoon enjoys lunch in the picnic site, later continue with an afternoon game drive till African Sunset, later end of the afternoon drive back for dinner and overnight stay at Kitela Lodge.

Although the park is small, it has awe-inspiring scenery and is well-known for its growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a considerable amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described in words. The game drives along the lake provide spectacular photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake and its flamingos in the background.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the lodge, drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Ndutu Area for wildebeest migration viewing, afternoon picnic lunch served at Naabi gate visitors centre, later afternoon continue with a game drive in central Serengeti till African sunset, later drive back for dinner and overnight stay Lahia Tented Lodge.

The park has 14,763 sq. km, and more than 4 million large mammals live in total wilderness freedom. The park is undoubtedly one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries globally. It is famed for its annual wildebeest migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and antelopes. As for the big cats and large predators, it’s the place to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings filmed in this park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the lodge, depart for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, the home of the big five and wildebeest migration. You will have a picnic lunch and more game viewing in the afternoon after the African sunset, drive back for dinner and overnight stay at Lahia Tented Lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater, and drive 600m down the crater floor for a game drive. Lunch served on the crater floor, then continue with afternoon game viewing, later end of afternoon drive back for dinner and overnight stay at Kitela Lodge.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a pioneering experiment where people (the Maasai), livestock, and wildlife co-exist and share the same protected habitat. The stunning spectacle of the Ngorongoro Crater, its steep walls falling some 610 meters to the floor, is undoubtedly one of the highlights of a safari tour in Tanzania.

The crater floor is home to thousands of everyday animals, including the rare black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hippos, elands, elephants, and a large predator population of lions, hyenas, and jackals. It’s also famous for its most giant elephants globally and has massive tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

Day 7: Karatu to the Airport

After breakfast in the lodge, depart Karatu, drive to Arusha for hot lunch, and drop off at the airport, which marks the end of your epic adventure.
