TOUR OVERVIEW
This is an awe-inspiring and Unforgettable Safari; a chance to see the “Big 5” – Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Rhinos and Leopards. Tanzania’s most famous safari destination includes the country’s most famous parks, Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Arusha National Park. Enjoy the beautiful Great Rift Valley wilderness and its wildlife; visit the garden of God – Ngorongoro Crater, the endless plain of Serengeti, watching the Great Wildebeest migration pass near your camera lance.
Visiting the Hadza, a modern hunter-gatherer people, are considered one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Their native homeland includes the Eyasi Valley and nearby hills. As a hunter-gatherer society, the Hadza have no domesticated livestock or grow or store their own food. The Hadza survive by hunting their food with hand-made bows and arrows and foraging edible plants.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arusha National Park for Walking
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and begin driving to Arusha National Park; beautiful scenery and the largest population of animals welcome you. First thing in the morning starts with a nature walking safari, on foot with armed rangers, then back to the picnic site for lunch. Then afternoon game drive follows, later end of afternoon drive back to Arusha and drop off at Africa Safari Lake Manyara (comfort tent) for overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in the hotel, drive south to Tarangire National park with packed lunch for a game drive; the major highlight of the day is the largest herds of elephants and many baobab giant trees. Finally, drive to Mto wa Mbu Village for dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Lake Manyara (comfort tent).
Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe Tribe Visit
After breakfast in the camp, drive to Lake Eyasi and visit one of the few remaining tribesmen who still live understated cultural life, the Hadzabe people, famous as Bushman. Start with a food-collecting expedition trip to learn their hunting techniques and all food menu. Visit their artisan house later in the afternoon and drive back to Octagon Lodge for dinner overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Floor
After breakfast in the Lodge, drive to the Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive, searching for the big five as the crater is the largest intact of the broken caldera with wildlife in it; rare black rhinos find refuge here. Lunch served on the crater floor, later afternoon game viewing, and then drive back to Octagon Lodge for dinner and overnight.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a pioneering experiment where people (the Maasai), livestock, and wildlife co-exist and share the same protected habitat. The stunning spectacle of the Ngorongoro Crater, its steep walls falling some 610 meters to the floor, is undoubtedly one of the highlights of a safari tour in Tanzania. The crater floor is home to thousands of everyday animals, including the rare black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hippos, elands, elephants, and a large predator population of lions, hyenas, and jackals. It’s also famous for its most giant elephants globally and has massive tusks.
Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in the Lodge, drive to Central Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area; you will have multiple stops to enjoy the beautiful view of the crater below. Today will be the day of landscape with row beauty to Serengeti; enjoy lunch at the visitor centre, then afternoon game viewing in Central Serengeti, later end of afternoon drive to Kisura Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Waking up in the Serengeti is something extraordinary. Africa’s sights, sounds, and smells are all around us, and ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. Pick your packed breakfast and lunch with your morning section of game drive in Serengeti National Park, marvelling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and entertaining wildlife, all explained by your expert driver-guide.
After picnic lunch, we set off again, searching for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park; lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes on our drives. Then, later after African sunset, it’s time to drive back to the camp for a much-needed leisure dinner and overnight stay at Kenzan Mara Tented Camp.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti allows you further to explore this vast and endlessly rolling savannah plain. It is Tanzania’s most famous park, wherein tens of thousands of hoofed animals roam in a constant and ongoing search for the fresh grasslands upon which their survival depends. After the end of the excitement, drive back to Kenzan Mara Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Serengeti to Lake Natron
After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron, enjoy an afternoon walking to the fresh waterfalls, then short scenic walking along the lake, and drive to Africa Safari Lake Natron for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Lake Natron to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, enjoy lakeside walking accompanied by your guide; enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ol Donyo Lengai Mountain, wildlife, and the most beautiful sight of pink lesser flamingos. Then walk back to the camp for lunch and drive to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay at Africa Safari Lake Manyara.
10: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha Town
Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park has breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, and hot springs. We will do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day, and in the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha, where we will arrive before dinner.

Africa Safari Arusha
Africa Safari Arusha is placed in a quiet environment, offering comfortable accommodation in the secluded area of Kiranyi just outside Arusha’s city centre. This property occupies a hill, the Ngateu, which offers views of the nearby Arusha town and the environment.
The hill in the past provided a lookout outpost for the Maasai nomads as they watched out for cattle raiders from neighbouring areas. Africa Safari Arusha is conveniently located near the domestic airport and Arusha Town. The perfect base to start your safari to the National Parks in Tanzania or explore the lively city.
The Lodge is based on cottages (two facing Mount Meru and farmlands). Set out in a natural environment of trees and well-maintained gardens overlooking the lovely swimming pool.
The hotel offers a dip in their state of the art little swimming pool. This includes a kiddies splash area allowing for magnificent views from the relaxing swim point.
Africa Safari Lake Manyara
Africa Safari Lake Manyara is located between the foothills of Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara; however, far more distinguished is its position. It could easily be mistaken for being right in the middle of the National Park.
The accommodation site is a safari in and of itself, with various room types scattered throughout the diverse grounds. Africa Safari Lake Natron
Africa Safari Lake Natron is located between the most crucial safari parks in northern Tanzania. It’s a perfect base for visiting the most important breeding site globally for Lesser Flamingos or discovering salt and soda lakes.
